Donate to the Best Foundation

Donate to the Best Foundation by making a Pledge to Give or visit some of the BEST Foundation partner websites and Click to Give. Donations are used to provide grants for classroom learning projects, field trips, classroom supplies and equipment, student and teacher scholarships, and school programs that benefit student needs.

Pledge to Give

We hope you will include the BEST Education Foundation in your charitable giving plans each year by submitting a pledge card.

Make a contribution in honor of a special teacher in the life of you or your child.
Make a contribution in honor of someone who has had a special influence on your life.
Make a contribution in honor of a special event - marriage, anniversary, birthday, special holidays, etc.
Make a contribution in memory of a loved one who valued education.
Include the BEST Education Foundation in your will.
Garland ISD staff members may choose to have automatic deductions made from their paycheck each month to the foundation.

Donate to provide classroom resources to a specific school teacher's classroom project through the DonorsChoose website.

Teachers post what they need on the website (globe, a field trip, books, a video camera, ), and through the DonorsChoose.org website donations are collected. Then DonorsChoose.org will send the item or funding to the teacher along with a disposable camera to capture the results...Learn More

Drive the Foundation

Support the work of the foundation while taking online classes that are affordable and convenient for GISD students, parents, and patrons.

The BEST Education Foundation has partnered with DriveTheFoundation.com to offer online driver education and defensive driving courses.

Buy a Brick to Give

Walkway of History

Support the BEST Education Foundation by purchasing a brick for the GISD Walkway of History.

Honor, remember, and recognize the accomplishments of a family member or special friend in a tangible way throughout the years with a customized brick. The bricks are prominently placed in the grand entrance that leads into the meeting and convention hall of the Curtis Culwell Center.
