Get with your campus representative and make your pledge today.

This year the goal of the 5 day effort will be to again raise at least $100,000 for the BEST Education Foundation. The donations will be used to generate and distribute resources to support and enrich education for all students in the Garland Independent School District through grants and scholarships...Employee Pledge Form and Donation Form

An employee campaign is conducted in the fall each year. District departments and campuses compete to see who can raise the most money to contribute to BEST. The campaign is an opportunity for employees to help each other.

An employee after 60 seconds in the cash machine. The school campaign leader who brings in the most money for the foundation is rewarded with 30 seconds in a money machine. They get to keep all they can grab.

"This funding can, will and DOES make a most significant change in a teacher’s life and classroom right here within our own district."

Employee Campaign 2010- 2011 “The BEST Gets Better”

The 2010 Employee campaign reinforced why our district is a “Recognized District”. Everyone just bands together to get the job done. In spite of the downturn in the economy and resources being tight the employees of Garland ISD continue to show their support and generosity towards making ours the BEST district to be in.

Campaign Summary

The BEST Education Foundation is proud to announce that 4,130 employees stepped up to contribute $102,772.50 for grants and scholarships for our staff and students. This has been the third straight year that the Campaign has generated more than 100K. The Foundation has been able to increase it’s giving in all areas to the students and staff based on the overwhelming support of our people. In the past few years we have created new programs and scholarships in several areas to help meet the needs of our district.

The exemplary employee support not only helps to make our district stronger, but it also demonstrates to our supporting community business, alumni, and friends that G.I.S.D. is worthy of their financial support.
